Investment - Portfolio Summary (26 April 2010 to 7 May 2010)

I was away on a short holiday to Nanchang,China last week during the Labour Day hoilday so I don't have the chances to update my blog.  This two weeks have been a difficult period for the stock market with the problem in Greece growing.  The STI went down to 2817.20 points.

Due to the fact that I have sold off several counters as mention in the last Porfolio Summary, I am able to lock in the profit of those counters.  The porfolio profit went down by around $1.5k due to the recent events. 

I took this chance to buy in 4 lots of CapitalComm @ $1.13.  With this purchase and the selling of other counters, the porfolio now contains mostly dividend counters such as Cambridge, Starhub and CapitalComm.  It also contains Citigroup and Cosco which I feel have great potential. 

I have reduced the capital of the porfolio from $20k to $16k to increase my personal cash holding.
